About Catnip Camera

Catnip Camera is, as the name of this website implies, (mostly) about Cat Photography.

The photographer Barbarella Buchner (a.k.a. "The Mad Cat Lady") lives on the sunny island of Lanzarote - together with tabby twins Lugosi & Spider plus Persian Princess Janelle - where she has a seemingly endless supply of domesticated and feral cats "modelling" for her.

 

Despite her passion for cats, you will, however, also find other things in the various galleries on this site, including photos of dogs, birds, reptiles, many other animals, nature, plants, stunning sunsets and close-up objects that are pretty or breathtaking enough to catch her eye.
